Jos is a city in the Middle Belt of Nigeria.
The city has a population of about 900,000 residents based on the 2006 census. Popularly called “J-town”, it is the administrative capital of Plateau State.
It randomly occurred to us while doing one or two things that Jos may be one of the greatest birthplaces of the best of Nigerian celebrities. We’ll mention a few who were born in Jos and leave you to decide if it’s worthy of this title.
1. Bez Idakula
Emmanuel Bezhiwa Idakula, known as Bez, is a Nigerian multi-instrumentalist, singer-songwriter, and composer, working in a genre known as “alternative soul”, a hybrid of soul, rock, jazz, and R&B.
